Just turned 48. Active gym member. Not really trying to lose much weight but rather tone up more. Have issues with my elbows so weights are often tricky. Feel free to add and offer advice. Thanks !

I'm 53, and I hear you. I In addition to arthritis in my elbow I have chronic knee aphasia. What is working for me is total body routines 2-3 times a week, avoiding jerky power movements, mildly warming up about 10 min on a treadmill, and Icy Hot on the elbow as needed. As you approach 50, it is so very important to watch calories, especially sugar-filled junk food. Trust a guy that messed up and trying to make amends.1

I'm 50, started with a personal trainer in Jan 19. I was hugely obese at 23 stone. Currently 16 st 5 and finally enjoying exercise, cardio, weights, 1 to 1 with a PT, on my own and in groups. I have issues with my shoulder (rotator cuff) but am working on this with my PT. While expensive the PT is worth every penny in terms of working with my ability and limitations to make me strong. Who says you cant build muscle as you hit middle age 🙂🏋️♀️1
