    Neither - I like Garmin :D

I recently got a Garmin Instinct to replace my older, glitchy Fitbit - we do a LOT on the water, and I am training for a Sprint Tri, so waterproof was top on the list. Durability, battery life (I can go 2+ weeks between charges, depending on GPS use), watch face always on (no exaggerated arm movement or tapping necessary... which also means so bright screen at night since I toss and turn a lot), buttons instead of touch screen, so many reasons... oh, and cost! Mine was right at $200 on sale, $300 regular price.

I used to have a Fitbit, my sister uses a Garmin and myself and my girlfriend now both use Apple watches.

The kicker is, they all do the same thing to be honest and the smart watch market is pretty dried up.

I use the Apple Watch purely because I use Apple products in general but - do I think they’re any better than they’re competitors? No.

Go with what works best for your general lifestyle and unless you’re fully sold into the Apple ‘life’, you’ll likely find it to be pretty anticlimactic (and I speak as someone who has no intention to switch from Apple, I’m just being honest).
