Are there any good Android apps that let you click on or copy recipes, and generate grocery lists?
Like I could pick 10 meals, preferably from a healthy list lol, and get a quick grocery list of everything I need?
Literally the hardest part of meal planning for is trying to figure out interesting meals ahead of time, and then getting everything I need on advance. So I end up with dinner lotteries, which involves walkting to the freezer, grabbing the first meat I touch, looking for some veggies and seasonings that might go with it, and filling in gaps on the way home.
Which is fine, in general, but not so much now that I am trying to cook low calorie for me, lower carb/sugar for my husband who hates vegetables, with gluten, lactose, and stomach sensitive alternatives for my diabetic, ibs sensitive mother, and STILL make sure my super picky preteen is getting enough healthy calories and nutrients. All while being broke, just enough above the poverty line to not qualify for foodstamps, trying to find another job, and getting my Masters!
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. And even though my Mom will take over much of the cooking when I start working again, she's not a very experienced or healthy cook, (we grew up with 70's-80's broke kitten MidWestern style with canned, nuked and overboiled or overfried everything, all done with a significantly impaired sense of smell and taste, so seasonings were generally forgotten) and does best with actual recipes.
