Hello! Brand new here, just got on myfitnesspal today. I'm trying to make big changes in 2020 and know I could use accountability structures and support.
I'm a busy nonprofit leader and mom of 3 kids (2 with special development/health needs) and have found over the past couple of years in trying to give so much to my work passions and family that I've lost touch with taking care of me. Stress eating has caused me to gain 45lbs in 2 years and I'm feeling the negative health reprocusssions. This is the season in my life that I need to "put my oxygen mask on first", so am trying to both add weekly exercise (just joined an Orange Theory gym) and shift to a whole foods based diet (ideally back to vegetarian as I was happily for 12 years some time back).
For today, my goals include:
-5 min gratitude journal
-Tracking my esting
-Calling my gym to confirm my class for tomorrow am (the app to sign up is being weird)
-Drink 2 large tumblers of water
