Hi, I'm Dave and a 34yr old Dad of 2.
Brief overview:
18 months ago I started Slimming World with a starting weight of 27st 1lb (172kg). This wasn't my heaviest but it was probably my unhappiest time.
Anyway, 13 months on and I had hit my target of just under 14st. Unfortunately at the same time I went on a Stag Do and we won the League at cricket and I found myself back in my old ways very quickly and have since put on 4 stone.
My general fitness in that time went from being unable to walk up the stairs at work without nearly passing out to feeling pretty amazing cycling 30km regularly, doing the odd 5k park run and playing cricket 2 or 3 times a week.
I'm now back to the same plan I was previously on with a slight difference, I'm adding some strength training to the plan. I've never dabbled with weights so I'm not sure what I'm doing so falling into the category of all the gear no idea.
