Am I able to share my food list with my husband so we’re not both inputting items?

You would have to log the food in your diary, and have him copy the meal. Then it will be in his recent foods.
Alternatively, you could click "share this food with other MFP users" when you create the food (perhaps including your initials in the name of the food to make it easy to find) and then it will in the general database and he can find it there.2 -
