Yes. Why are you thinking you need do the Whole30?0

Whole 30 is an elimination diet, designed to help identify food intolerances and allergies. It's not meant to be a weight loss diet (although that often happens, due to the severely restrictive nature of it). Unless you think that you have intolerances, there's really no reason to do something like this. Just log your foods and eat the calorie allowance MFP gives you.9

I thought about trying it since I eat mostly like that anyway, and enjoy it, and I like challenges, but ultimately I didn't think it made sense to cut out potatoes (and they had no good reason for it, I think they allow them now), beans and legumes (which in my opinion make my diet healthier), and whole grains (I don't personally eat a lot of grains and was willing to cut them out for a month, which I could do easily, but IMO having some whole grains is often a positive for nutrition). The things I did agree with -- focusing on cooking from whole foods and eating lots of veg and some protein -- were things I do anyway, and if one wants to try cutting out snack foods and desserts (which is pretty easy for me), one can do that without also cutting out a bunch of nutrient-dense whole or minimally processed foods.
But that was my take, based on what I was already doing. If you want to give yourself a challenge because you think it would help you get into cooking from whole foods and eating more veg or whatnot, then it could be helpful, and I think they have a forum and such for support. I am someone who gets irritated by rules I think make no sense/serve no purpose (like no beans), so it wouldn't work for me.
It's often promoted as an elimination diet (the people who created it claim it is), but it's not a particularly well thought out one and if you think you have food sensitivities working with a registered dietitian would be a much better plan.5
