Sometimes the values are specific to particular brands of a product. Sometimes the totals are for recipes that list a range of servings (6-8, 4-6, etc) so the calorie counts are estimates.
I would enter the recipe, verify calories for the specific product used are the same and go with that. but keep in mind, some MFP foods have really weird entries (some garlic entries register hundreds of calories per clove--obvi incorrect)...so be careful.0
