Hi there what’s the best way to enter food you buy from cafes ie chicken salad or other small things from cafes into the MFP app

if it is a non chain cafe, I just estimate - either by eye ball approximate comparing a slice of cake to aprox size I have previously weighed at home or entering a dish like lasagne and picking an average calorie one from the data base.
Or sometimes mentally deconstructing the thing and entering the parts - eg a ham salad sandwich as 2 slices of bread, 1/2tsp mayo, 1 slice of packaged cheese, 1 slice of sandwich ham, 10g tomato ( I must admit I stop there and dont bother indiviudally entering lettuce, tomato, cucumber, any of those type things which would make next to no difference. But you could if you want.
If it is a chain cafe and the menu is online you can be more exact - still approximate, of course but more exact.1
