Pomegranates on keto?

I was reading an article that pomegranates seeds are ok to on keto. Just don’t drink the juice from the stores bc of all the added sugars what r ur thoughts on incorporating the seeds into a keto diet?

The juice comes from the seeds, so yes, they do have carbs. A single pomegranate has about 50 grams of carbs (about 40 net). You may be able to fit some into your carb allowance if you want just a spoonful for garnish, but you'll need to be careful if you're using it as a standalone snack because it would eat up your carb allowance and won't leave much for vegetables.
This is one of the reasons I found keto unsustainable. Seemingly nutritious and delicious foods that can easily fit into my calorie allowance would not fit my carb allowance without sacrificing too much.6 -
You just have to watch your carbs. Half cup of seeds has 13 net carbs. I don't eat any fruits, but that's my preference.0
