Eye round oven roast nutrition?

Tonight I cooked an eye round oven roast for my family (kirkland brand). Now I'm trying to track how many calories I ate, but am feeling overwhelmed... Like are the entries on MFP raw or cooked?

Some are raw and some are cooked. Raw will always be more accurate, but it's really up to how detailed you want to be. Close or near spot on.🤷♂️0 -
I figured it out: if you are weighing food cooked, make sure the entry specifically says "cooked" or "grilled" or whatever. If the entry doesn't specify, then just assume the entry is for raw portions as all nutritional information on packaging is based on the raw weight (unless otherwise specified).1

Entries that were pulled from the USDA database will specify raw or cooked. To pull some examples from my diary:- Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, meat only, cooked, roasted
- Fish, cod, Atlantic, raw
Unfortunately, the green check marks in the MFP database are used for both user-created entries and admin-created entries that MFP pulled from the USDA database. To find admin entries for whole foods, I get the syntax from the USDA database and paste that into MFP.
The USDA recently changed the platform for their database and it is unfortunately a little more difficult to use. I uncheck everything but SR Legacy - that seems to be what MFP used to pull in entries.
Note: any MFP entry that includes "USDA" was user entered.
For packaged foods, I verify the label against what I find in MFP. (Alas, you cannot just scan with your phone and assume what you get is correct.)
I plugged "eye round oven roast" into the USDA database after unchecking everything but SR Legacy and got several good entries, one of which should work for you, for example: "Beef, round, eye of round, roast, separable lean and fat, trimmed to 1/8" fat, choice, cooked, roasted" (a lot of the entries differ in how much fat was left on the roast, which is important, and grade, which is probably a lot less important.)1 -

Thanks for the information. I'm going to start using the USDA database now to start verifying the MFP entries.
Quick question: why do you uncheck everything but "SR Legacy?"
For example, I used the database to search for "cooked brown rice" and got some good results, but after unchecking everything but "SR Legacy," the results greatly diminished.

I tried putting some non-SR Legacy entries into the MFP database and didn't get any results, so concluded (perhaps erroneously) that MFP had pulled from SR Legacy only, but do let me know if I was wrong!0 -
minsley - Cooked Brown Rice
^ that one is from a non SR Legacy entry0 -
I cooked some grass-fed ground beef and am now struggling to find the nutrition facts in the USDA database.0
