BeatsX issue?

I just bought the wireless BeatsX yesterday. Put them straight on the charger because the light was red. Once the light went solid white (as instructions said it should) I tested them, powered them off, and set them aside. I used them for a total of 5 mins to test.

Today, I powered them on and they were immediately red lighted and died within 5 mins of my run.

Am I doing something wrong?? Anyone know of any issues? I have them charging again now. Light is back to solid white.
