Glad to see this thread turned into Facebook.
Turned into Facebook? It was the moment it was created. It was solidified when the first meme got posted on page 1.nitalieben wrote: »The only thing I am able to deduce here is that this is a very sensitive topic
As I previously mentioned, it's all a matter of personal preference whether one wears a beard or likes a man with a beard. And, I don't mind the general conversation. But, what I find hypocritical is that people stand up for those with beards when others are critical of or comment on how it can be difficult to maintain a beard or food stuck in them (another reason why I don't like beards is seeing food on them while eating, not saying stuck in it still hours after). Yet, they say nothing when people post "shame" memes about those not having a beard. Like I said, all fun 'n games poking the bear about how manly they are for wearing a beard. Then, when someone counters their BS, they cry foul.4 -

I see what you did there. I think my point holds true for anything. If you maintain it properly it could work. If no, chances are it's gonna turn out pretty unappetizing. Works for beards, bushes, nails, etc.2 -

I replied and answered your questions. I related stories because that's just the way I roll. Be who you are. Like what you like.
We attract what we are. If you're confident with your beard just wear it loud and proud.

There's all kinds of threads like What are you looking for in a man or woman.
My picker was broken. I used to pick men for the wrong reasons. Looks. Intelligence and a steady paycheck mean more than looks in the big picture.I have a steady paycheck, too. The most intelligent man I've ever known had a beard. He made it all of the way to the top and I let the sonuvagun go. I do kick myself over that one but I've changed my tune since then. Looks are good but there's more. Much more. My picker is fixed.

Zeus had a beard. Odin had a beard. Batman should have a beard. Maybe not.5

After reviewing a lot of the comments here, it would appear that I inadvertently started an argument of sorts. Apologies y’all. That certainly wasn’t my intent.
To be clear, I welcome opinions. On any subject. A difference in opinion can be refreshing. That was not the observation/point that I had tried to make. Now I’m not even sure what it was 🤷🏻♂️.
Carry on.....
You're all good, man. All you did was make an observation.1
