Question regarding heavy lifting

Hi all, I was curious to see what people thought about heavy lifting to lose body fat and improve physique. What's more important to building lean muscle, the weight lifted or the better range of motion? I personally feel a better overall focus on the muscle being trained when I lift a little lighter but was just curious if that eve mattered? TIA

There's a post about 5 or 6 further down this board, that more or less covers what you're asking.1

If I'm reading between the lines correctly...
If reducing weight on the bar allows you to lift with better form, better technique, and a more complete range of motion, then yes... that should be far more important than a bit more weight on the bar and poor form/technique/ROM.4 -
Lifting will helps you burn some calories and build some muscle. But lose fat helps only calories deficit.
What about lifting technic always beats weights. And technic can be different depending on your goals..0
