Why is there no automatic net carbs function? I want to use this for Atkins but it’s too hard without that. Am I missing something?

There are lots of international users, and in many countries outside the US the carbs listed on the package are already net carbs, so any automatic calculation would give them bad numbers.

All you need to do is subtract fiber from total carbs, right?

Change either the sugar or sodium listing on your diary to fibre so you can easily see it, subtract fibre from carbs. Not hard at all.

There are also numerous database entries for net carb items that other users have created, just include 'net carbs' in your search.

Yeah, super easy so long as you track fiber.

As others have said, the only people who should be subtracting fiber from carbs for net carbs are those using US and Canadian entries (unless there are some others I'm not aware of). Entries from Europe, Australia, etc., will already be net carbs.
