MFP causing iPhone issues? Anyone else

I had an iPhone 6 with no issues, started using MFP and it started tripping out and the screen would go out of control. Insurance replaced it with a iPhone 6s and it’s been fine until I finally downloaded MFP again and this morning my phone spazzed out with the last phone I thought it was a coincidence but now who knows. I don’t want to delete the app because it’s too annoying using it on the iPad and my iPhone counts my steps.
Has anyone else had this issue?
