01/28: 282.2 lbs (+1.0) … 6,870 steps. Great start to the round! Oh well, upticks happen… all the time. I’m determined to hit 279 this round.
01/29: 280.5 lbs (-1.7) … 13,107 steps. Right back down close to my previous low. I’m a little surprised as I ate a bit more than usual yesterday. Pushing my activity level a bit more this week -- messed around with Ring Fit Adventure on Switch this morning and am thinking about going on an hour walk at lunch if it’s not too cold out. I’m near the end of my audiobook and that’d be some good listening time.
01/30: 281.0 lbs (+0.5) … 10,773 steps. Another small uptick, but I’m trending in the right direction. Got 13,000 steps yesterday, which is the first time I’ve been over 10k in quite a while. I’ve been slacking. Hoping to take another walk at lunch today if it’s not too cold out -- it’s chillier this morning than it was yesterday.
01/31: 280.7 lbs (-0.3) … 12,350 steps. Holding pretty steady around here, just tiny fluctuations. I’ve been increasing my physical activity this week though -- short morning workouts at home and 2.5 mile walks at lunch for the last few days -- so hopefully I’ll see some results from that soon.
02/01: 281.3 lbs (+0.6) … I was pretty hungry yesterday, so I’m surprised that this uptick isn’t bigger. Pretty happy with it as it is, given how much I ate. Today should be a lighter day food-wise.

02/03: 281.7 lbs (+0.4) … Not a great weekend, some poor food choices and I was pretty lazy. Need to get back into gear now.
02/04: 281.6 lbs (-0.1) … Ate a bit lighter yesterday and planning to do better today. Also I should be able to get in my lunch walk today, which should help. I had a meeting over the lunch hour yesterday.
02/05: 279.9 lbs (-1.7) … There we go! A nice little whoosh this morning and a new low weight. Finally made it to sub-280. Going to try to be extra good today, getting in my walk and keeping my calories on the low side, to hold onto this weight for the end of the round or beat it.

01/28: 147.4 - Lol – there you go! Almost 2 lbs loss overnight. It’s a mystery so I shall focus on food, logging, water and exercise. Did my strength circuit today – I will be sore tomorrow.💪
01/29: 146.8 (– 0.4) My strength circuit definitely got my heart rate up yesterday. Hopefully I can do it again on Thursday. Todays is a run day and I am sore! I ate pretty well yesterday and trying to get more fiber, protein and water. Spouse is gone for a few days so I am looking forward to eating veggies and salads. 🥗
01/30: 147.0 (+.2WTF) My scale seems stupid. Hahah. I get on and it says 146.2. I get off. Wait. Reweigh. 147.0. It’s pretty new – a year old. I have recalibrated and use a 8 lb dumbbell to check which weighs 7.8-8 lbs depending on the day. Whatever….she says indignantly! Good run, good food tracking, slept great. What else can I ask for. Off to the gym for my strength workout. 😒
01/31: 147.0 (0) I have eaten under my calories all week, stuck to my exercise plans and the weight is not moving. Must be what I am eating or not eating. I am logging pretty meticulously. Even my damn vitamins. The challenge is going out with friends. I ate well but I have to guess at the salad contents. But still stayed well under my calorie needs. NSV? Did not have a drink while everyone did. That was hard! And now the weekend…..gotta stay on track 😲
02/01: 146.2 (-.8) Had a good run yesterday and had my dinner plans cancelled which made me happy. Was able to track and eat what I wanted and had a nice chill Friyay night! Happy Feb Fools day😎
02/02: 147.2 (+1) Dunno. Worked out, ate under my cals but did have some cocktails (counted every drop in my calories). I made a healthy vegetarian cauliflower rice and beans bowl and used the recipe builder. It was yummy. I know part of this is just plumbing (TMI sorry) but that is out of my control. Had a great 7+ mile run today. Hope to be mindful at the Superbowl party. Cheers🏈
02/03:146.6 (-.6) Post superbowl. Go Chiefs! I pretty much ate what I wanted and drank responsibly. Did not count calories. All that was expected. Here’s to a quiet week of moving and logging, logging and moving.😎
02/04: 147.2 (+.6) Assuming Superbowl fun came home to roost because yesterday was a good eating day. Just not a lot of calorie burn at yoga. It’s going to be 80 today here so I am going to run before the “snow” hits TX tomorrow. Maybe I can burn some calories shoveling the 3 flakes!😉💪❄
02/05: 146.0 (-1.2) I weighed with and w/o an 8 # dumbbell – seemed to be accurate but who knows. Digestive issues continue – DH says it sounds a lot like lactose intolerance, which I have never had. Weird that it would come from out of the blue but I have heard that happens. I am having more dairy due to trying to up my protein intake, with Iconic protein drinks and yogurt. I think I will back off of those for a few days and see what’s what. I can only eat so many eggs and so much chicken 😫🥚🐓

01/28 – 124.2 – Bad choices yesterday and a late dinner/snack last night.
01/29 – 124.8 – Pretty sure this is delayed from Sunday/Monday. Ate within my calories yesterday but did have more carbs than normal.
01/30 – 124.0 – Feeling better about that, I seem to be more comfortable in the 122-124 range.
01/31 – 124.0 – I also need to work on some recomp and toning. I started off the year trying to do some jogging, but that hasn’t happened lately due to rain and it’s dark when I get off work. I think I am going to look on Pinterest and find an indoor, body weight workout I can do during February. My 5 year old loves telling me to do burpees.

02/03 – 123.0 – Stressful weekend and there were donuts in the house…I wasn’t good. My 3 year old and DH are both sick, bet you can’t guess who has been worse lol.
02/04 – 123.2 – Surprised to only gain .2. DH has bronchitis on the edge of pneumonia and he is the stay at home parent. Sick man = not doing much so I have had more on me each night after work. I took a day off from tracking and made some not so great choices, but didn’t really have a sit down dinner either.
02/05 – 123.8 – Giving in to cravings and comfort food/carbs. I’m going to have to get back on track. Took 3 year old to the dr last night and she has bronchiolitis. Over here trying to keep myself and 5 year old healthy. Starting to get a little cough/yuck feeling, hoping its just all of this drastic weather changing.

01/31-155 pretty sure I'll be up tomorrow, because we had a work social (I had a chicken wing and a mini bite size sub) and THEN I had a dinner date last night, admittedly it was healthy salmon and rice, but definitely need to watch myself today. Tracking every day and checking in here to keep honest. Eating well/healthy today. Keep going everyone!!!

02/03-159 Yep. Weekends wreck me. I've got all the excuses. It's harder to log food, I don't have my work schedule to limit my visits to the fridge. I didn't weigh myself. While I'm way more active on the weekends, I don't equally limit food intake. I could have slunk off into the shadows, but I'm making myself post here. Home today with a sick kid. Unusually warm here to so I rode my horse today and yesterday. Dragging the kids out to the playground now.
02/04-159 Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't go up. I did fine all day yesterday, but by evening I was starved and feeling a bit down and I did not restrain myself from the ice cream. Today is a new day.
02/05-159 Better yesterday, although I had rice chex in my car and snacked on way too much of it on the way home from work. This is a learning process. Next time, have more water first. throw the cereal out of reach. I'm one that really can not have crap around or I WILL eat it. This is a lifestyle. I'm committed to the change and I'm OK with it being more of a slow process. It would be nice if I finish this 10 days down another pound.

1/28 125.6 Happy with that! Down 1.4 from yesterday, I knew that weekend gain was fake. Had a good eating day yesterday, made an awesome low-cal chicken fajita bake for dinner. Drank 96oz of water!
1/29 125.2 Little drop from yesterday, 96oz again and a good meal plan. Even enjoyed a couple bites of ice cream cake to celebrate my daughter’s 4th anniversary of having open heart surgery
1/30 125.0 A loss is a loss I suppose... even if it’s a tiny baby one. Dinner out tonight with my husband and daughter, going to a local sandwich place, planning to get the turkey sandwich and really try to avoid the delicious fries, we’ll see how that goes.
1/31 126.2 Ugh. I know it’s water weight from a restaurant meal, still stings to see it, especially when I ate under my goal yesterday. Moving on… taking a work-out break today, I’ve used my work’s gym every lunch break the last 2 weeks, feel like I’m getting a little burned out by it, gonna sit and enjoy my lunch today and have plans for the gym both days this weekend.

2/3 128.4 Hello Superbowl snacks. YIKES. I do feel like cr@p today too, sluggish, blah, upset tummy. Definitely overdid it yesterday. But will move forward, I know it’s just a temporary gain. Though I do think that’s going to kill my chances of hitting my goal this round, ugh.
2/4 126.4 Ok 2lb of that temporary gain is gone.. doubt I’m gonna get rid of 2 more by the time this challenge is over. We’re having a soup cook off at work today, not a huge fan of soup, so may just skip that and have one of the deli sandwiches, hopefully I can remain under goal. I did well this challenge, got to my lowest weigh-in yet, my goal is just out of reach.
2/5 125.4 That temporary gain left quickly, byeee! Still bummed I (most likely) won’t hit my goal for this round with only 1 day left, but I’ll come awfully close! I’m still seeing a downward trend on my weigh-in app, so that makes me happy! Also TOM, so that could be slowing me down. I was so proud of myself yesterday at our work cook off, I stuck to my plan and had my sandwich, a bag of kettle chips and a small scoop of vinegar-based coleslaw. I resisted lots of yummy things that would have killed my calorie goal.

1/31 DNW 0 miles I've been traveling for work since Tuesday. I was not able to walk or go to the gym, there was no time. Tried to be good and did for the most part, with the exception of sodium. You can stay on track calorie-wise eating out fairly easily if you pay attention, but you can't do anything about sodium. I'll weigh in tomorrow but I'm sure I'm back up, I can tell by the way my rings fit. OH well. My territory will change in March or April. I'll be flying to Phoenix and Albuquerque instead of driving to St. Louis. It will take me some time to get into the new rhythm and find where I walk etc. I did have an issue with altitude sickness yesterday, which freaked me out a little but I know how to deal with it now (I think). It was embarrassing, I was doing a presentation to 15 people and suddenly felt dizzy. First I said, I need to sit down didn't stop then apparently I got very flushed and one of the ladies in the meeting stopped me and said you have altitude sickness. Take this water and go sit in the cool lobby.
Not the best first impression to give my new team. I'm a flatlander to them.

2/2 160.7 5 miles Still hovering around this 160 mark. Like I have for the last 2 months. I ate out at Buca di Beppo so the fact that I'm not up is a miracle. GO CHIEFS!!!
2/3 160.4 5 miles I walked ten miles in two days. The weather was unseasonably warm both days. My Chiefs won the Super Bowl. I'm 50 and they last won 50 years ago, so it's a little bit overwhelming. No Super Bowl party for me, just at home with my dogs. I had the leftovers from Buca for dinner and I'm still down. I couldn't fall asleep after all the excitement. Finally knocked out around 2 a.m., but my brain woke up at 5:00. Three hours is not enough. I still plan on walking later but we'll see, I might be too worn out. GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2/4 160.4 0 miles I was soooo tired yesterday I didn't even try to walk. I kinda expected a slight drop but I guess not. I bought my walking stuff today but it might be snowing. Excuses excuses. Happy Tuesday everyone.
2/5 160.4 4 miles It was snowing a little when I started but no biggie. Plan on the gym tonight because it's supposed to snow all day. So this morning I was sure I'd be down but no, I even moved my scale hoping it would reset or something. Nope. I can tell I'm still losing something, by the way my clothes are fitting but I wish it was weight. Here is a pic of my Dusty dog from a walk this weekend.

@CamandJarvis @kmfeig87 Just got off another interview. Sounds promising but others in the running. I wasn't too concerned with finding a job before the holidays since hiring generally isn't done at the end of the year (exception of holiday-only employees). Most budgets won't allow hires. Things are starting to look up, so hopefully the same for everyone else in their own stressful job hunt.13

1/29/20 - 205.0— there it is! 😊 not yet back to Saturday’s number, but headed back in the right direction. Not having that piece of cake at work must have helped! Non-scale victory: saw a sub 8min time on one of my sprints today!

1/31/20 - 202.6 — expected a rise because I was able to hydrate by I guess I didn’t eat enough yesterday to affect the number. No morning exercise today either...stomach seems to be recovering but still very tired and headachy. Hope this is over by tonight!
2/1/20 -- 203.6 — there it is. That’s what I weigh with food in my stomach. Got to eat pretty normally yesterday. And proud I continued to track no matter what. Stomach is still unhappy today but getting back on track. Looking forward to some exercise today.

I got 133% of my steps for the day and drank 3 liters of water and ?? cups of coffee. By 5 pm my back was done but we were there until 9:15 - the disadvantage of not driving myself. Today we’re meeting friends at Sam’s Town for brunch buffet at 11 and I will have champagne. NO Super Bowl!!!

2/4 162.4lbs, 35.1%bf; 7h0m/79 - there is the bump. Plus, late dinner.... I need to make eating earlier a bigger priority! Goal is still possible.... though unlikely.

Round 103 - Jan.28 to Feb.6
Female, 5’, 66 years. SW – 165, GW – 163 something, UGW – 140. (This really should be 125 or 130 but that seems like such a long ways to go and 140 would be a huge improvement.) The 12 hr. IF along with everything else (portion control, watching calories in foods, exercise) seems to be working well for me.
This round I’m keeping on with IF and want to add getting to the gym 3x a week. I also want to better plan out my gym times. Right now I tend to get into it and spend about 1 ½ hrs. there and unconsciously I think that makes me put it off. If I can make it a real habit, even if it’s only 1 hr., in the end I’m ahead.

01/28 – 165 – Good day at the gym yesterday. Guess that balanced the evening snack after practice.
01/29 – 165.6 – IF last night though I sure didn’t feel like it. I suppose that is the result of giving in on Monday. Off to the gym today.

02/03 – 165 – Lazy day but did remember to quit eating at 7:05. Sunday evenings are really random, often snacks all evening rather than a proper meal so the calories can easily get out of hand. Off to the gym today.
02/04 – 164.8 – Good workout at the gym. No IF.
02/05 – 166.2 – Good day yesterday but supper a bit late and salty – maybe that’s why the bounce? Really didn’t expect that this a.m. but tomorrow may show what it really is. More motivation to keep up with the gym today.

Good idea....my husband uses those. I might do an elimination diet and just see. I have been eating dairy all of my short .....ahem....life. I will definitely use these if it helps when I need or want dairy. 🐄5 -

@musicsax Thanks for telling me about the Gall bladder attacks. I had eaten a lot of fatty nuts a day or two prior (too many while working and grazing) and I honestly believe this is what happened. There is a stomach flu going around our area so bad that it has closed down all our K-12 schools for two days in a row now (no word yet about tomorrow) so that is a distinct possibility but it just felt more like a problem with one of my organs. I needed to empty for sure (sorry for TMI) as it felt instrinctive to try to help. I took some little pink women's pills that helped with that today and it already feels better. However, I'm still afraid to eat. When I finally ate last night (very low fat until my body processed all those nuts), I was in pain again, though not as bad as the day before. For sure, when I go to my doctor I will insist on a referral for some testing. Like you, I don't want to ever go through that again. Today will be another rest day. I'm not even getting dressed again. In quoting @quiltingjaine, on my eating plan the carbs are a limit, the protein a goal and the fat is only a lever (when needed to satiate hunger). I overdid my lever! Thanks for the help & advice. It is on my list to discuss with the doctor soon!7 -

69 years old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. A pinched nerve and back surgery side-lined me for about a year. Then I had back surgery. Now I'm waiting to get my hip fixed. Hip Doc said surgery in April. Ugh! I can't do any walking or biking...both kill me. I see my personal trainer three times a week. She is taking it very slow and easy with me.
I have March 10th as my hip surgery date...much better than April!
