Any actual food that speeds up metabolism?

I had a couple on vacation not that long ago. I am not accustomed to that much sugar so I was on a pretty decent high. I was driving everyone crazy because I was bouncing off the walls with energy.

Putting on an extra 1lbs of muscle, which is no easy feat and requires some serious work, time and dedication. Will increase your daily calories burned by about 10 ( between 7-13) calories per day. So no, building muscle while good for you won't turn you into a calorie burning machine or even have any noticeable impact to your metabolism.

Not sure what the OP means by speed up "metabolism" but technically donuts could. There is evidence to suggest that heavier people have a higher BMR.
