I am 5'2" very large boned, muscular, currently 200 lbs and a size 16/18. I would really like to get down to a 12/14. I know that 12/14 doesn't sound skinny but at a size 12 and about 160 I have bones sticking out and it is not pretty. I will never be a size 6 princess.
I degress. My big problem is that in the past when I have lost weight I have either gone down to 1200 calories a day and worked out for an hour each day, five times a week or worked out nine hours a week.
I have had some injuries so I can not work out like I used to. I tried dropping to 1200 calories a day for a month. I lost ten pounds in the first two weeks then nothing. I was quite defeated.
I have been to the doctor and I am working that angle.
I am trying this again at 1500 calories, not eating back my exercise, and doing three, one hour sessions on the treadmill weekly with the incline all the way up.
As history is proving I am losing inches but not weight. In the past I have gone from a size 20 to 14 and only lost 5 lbs. Go fig...:smooched:
Unfortunately I am just feeling frustrated because the inches are dropping slowly and due to injury I really can not up the intensity.:explode:
Who else out there suffers from this and how do you deal with it?
