My biggest issue is snacking late at night. What are some of your best but healthy late night snacks.

I save the majority of my calories for the evening. I usually eat my dinner late and have a glass of wine.

That's my biggest issue too, right before bed I seem to get ravenous, although I know it's not hunger.
I love peanut butter so sometimes I'll just have a couple crackers or pretzels dipped in the stuff. I've been on a chicken salad kick for awhile too so sometimes switch it out with pb on ritz. Apple slices and pb. Turkey or ham deli slices dipped in lowfat ranch dressing, Hummus and veggies. Plain nonfat yogurt/blueberries. 40 calorie fudgicles. Oops how'd that get in there?? :)
Figure out what would serve your craving at the moment and find a low calorie substitute for it. If it's crunchy go for rice cakes or popcorn. Creamy go for yogurt....that type of thing. Another snack I like are peanuts in the shell; takes time to eat them.
My problem is knowing when to say 'okay, that's enough now'. Too easy to slip in another 500 calories before much thought is given, ya know? :/

Yes very true. Most of the time it’s a sweet tooth. I love peanut butter and eat that often. I eat protein bars at night right now.
  • My go-to late night snacks include:
    • 1/2 cup Bran Flakes, Grape Nuts, or Fiber One
    • Hard-boiled egg
    • Morning Star Corn Dog
    • Guacamole
    • Hummus

If you have a sweet tooth craving at night, I would try no fat yoghurt with some fruit and artificial sweetener or sugar if you can afford the calories. If yoghurt is not decadent enough have some baked custards on hand in the fridge. If they have caramel toppings or bottoms you will need to use sugar for that. But in the body of the custard you can use Splenda or some such thing. You can make the custards with milk, and no cream, but whole milk will be more filling than skim.

If you love peanut butter than buy some Optimum Chocolate Whey Peanut Butter powder and mix it with Greek yogurt or decaf coffee for a sweet high protein, low calorie treat

Has anyone tried WW Taco soup? The recipe has changed since I made it several years ago. It's fast to make and is only 50 calories per cup. It's very filling and would make a great late-night snack that stays with you. You just need 1 - 28oz can Crushed Tomatoes, 3 - 16 (?) oz cans Great Northern White Beans (drain and rinse), 1 can Sweet Corn, 1 Cup water and 1 packet Taco seasoning. If you try this and like it I would love to hear if it helps with your weight loss. Good luck!

I just had some Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla Greek yogurt. It's sweetened with Stevia. Doesn't have that weird stevia taste. I mix frozen blueberries in it. High protein so you don't burn muscle while sleeping but satisfies that sugar craving. I throw in just enough blueberries for that sweeter taste but not to add many carbs.

    Me too...
-Rice crackers w/ pb powder and a few Lily's 'no sugar' chocolate chips

-Bowl of air popped corn with a sprinkling (weighed) nuts/seeds/ dried roasted chick peas/Lily's chips, etc., if I'm wanting sweet or various spices (garlic - smoked paprika, Nutritional yeast, etc.,) w/ salted whole edamame pods

-jello w/ Greek yogurt and apple or berries

    -Protein ice 'cream' (yum)

    -Ridiculous brownies( IG: @lowcalrecipes98)
    -IG: dietdessertz

-Cloud bread w/ banana and pb powder

-Kale chips or make root veggie chips

    -homemade marshmallows https://www.reddit.com/r/Volumeeating/comments/iw74dj/love_these_sugar_free_marshmallows_one_8x8_pan_is/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I actually like to mash dark cocoa powder into firm tofu or dry cottage cheese w/ some Jordan Skinny syrup too lol!
  • Probably not that healthy, but I have a cup of sugar free hot chocolate (Nestle), 25 cal./packet. Helps satisfy my sweet tooth

I would just save 100 calories or so and have a sweet snack. I've been having a chocolate chip cookie for dessert lately. It's not low calorie or "healthy", just a regular ol' cookie. I just have to be good about only having one, and not three :D
