Tips in the above thread are great. Track everything, and weigh everything you put in your mouth. Plan ahead of time.
Not to be discouraging, but you are unlikely to lose 5 stone in 5-6 months. That would a loss of 2.6lbs per week, and while you might lose that much initially (via water weight largely) it's not a sustainable rate of loss. Especially as you get closer to your goal. Perhaps moderate your expectations, know that you will have some up weeks as well as down, and remember that as long as you are generally still moving in the right direction, you are doing well.13 -
You honestly don’t need to workout to lose weight. It’s all about what you put in your mouth. If you want to exercise then walk and do light yoga and stretches. You can find videos on YouTube. In terms of food I would weigh everything using a food scale and find out what foods help you stay in a deficit.3

Adjust your expectations, 70lbs is going to take a lot longer than July.
2lbs per week is the highest recommended rate of loss, that's for someone who's obese, as you get closer to your goal, the rate of loss needs to get slower.
So you're probably looking at 14 weeks for the first 2 stone, another 21 weeks for the next stone and a half and up to 42 weeks for the last stone and a half.
But that means you could be looking at being well on your way by then and if you factor in some strength training (not necessary for weight loss) you can also make a lot of changes to your body composition by maintaining your muscle whilst you lose the fat. There are low impact versions of a lot of exercises that you can do.
