I'm 5'7 and net 800 a day, grossing between 1700 and 2000 with exercise. Guess we are all different! I also think the calories burned from exercise function on here is off.0

I'm 5'7.5" and lost substantial weight in the past on about 1500-1600 calories a couple years ago.
I ended up gaining most of the weight back after getting off track. I'm in about my third consistent week with logging and am down to 1200 now because I set my goal at two pounds a week and would rather get the weight off sooner than later. I'm also doing intense cardio workouts daily. I am starting to wonder if my goal should be higher but it's really hard to say at this point.0 -

I lost weight doing 1200 cals, I lost a lot of LBM, and was left with a little chubby version of myself
I lost weight doing lots of cardio, I lost a lot of LBM, and was left with a little chubby version of myself
I lost weight on a smaller deficit and lifting weights, and I'm the same size I was 10lbs heavier except I'm firmer, stronger, and healthier now, with none of the joint pain I use to get (I've had arthritis since I was a kid, I've had back problems for years, they all seemed to have gone away with heavy lifting).
Left is cardio, right is weights.0 -
Well I've been maintaining for almost 9 months on this intake. I'm not one to believe that I'll lose weight if I eat more. I'm about 118 lbs and run competitively, so my body is probably just "too" efficient and doesn't need as much as someone who weighs more.0

If you're netting 800 calories, and have been for 9 months.. I can just hope that you don't ever plan to adjust that intake without expecting to gain.0
