There used to be a super inspirational thread on this years ago... I can’t find, so I thought I’d create a new one. Please drop your favorite quote (weight loss related or not) or best piece of advice. Here is one of mine.

Was looking for inspiration today, as I'm going through a difficult patch. Day 1394 & counting on mfp, but felt close to the edge (metaphorically speaking).
When I came across this and it really spoke to me. Posted it on my feed, but can't add it here, so will quote instead.
(Don't know author)
Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
I'll always get up after I fall.
And wether I run, walk or have to crawl,
I'll set my goals AND acheive them all.5 -

A friend posted this and it resonates with me:
"Your new life is going to cost you your old one."
My gym has the saying, "I really regret that workout, said no one ever." It's gotten me off my butt to work out more than once. I'm injured right now and ignored it and lifted weights anyhow, that IS one workout I regret as it set me back quite a bit!5 -

"If you're not hungry enough to eat an apple, then you're not hungry."
--Sed Dr Pangloss, who also advised the Nervous New Husband that eating an apple was the best form of birth control.
Husband: "Should we eat the apple Before? or After?"
Dr. Pangloss: "Instead"3 -
"The key to dieting is remembering one important fact: Human beings have two holes, and one of them is bigger than the other."
--not motivating, but memorable. Heard it on TV as a girl. Probably George Carlin. Sounds like him.3 -
Let me mop up that last one with one of my favs:
