    Struggles: The harder exercise makes me tired to do other things afterwards, but I remind myself Health first. And I love being stronger!

    Hi! My name is Kristen. And I struggle to maintain my weight. I have had great success losing/gaining, but I'm hoping this group helps me be more accountable. I weigh only 1x week on Sundays, so that's when I'll check in. My 2 goals in 2020 are to not let the scale go above 153 and weigh in EVERY Sunday for the WHOLE YEAR. This seems easy to most, but I get lazy and make excuses why I don't need to weigh in and then all of a sudden everything in my closet has shrunk. LOL

    Successes: Had a few high days this week, but yesterday was really low, basically forced myself to eat 1200-ish calories of healthy food.

    Struggles: Saturday was a result of me overdoing it Friday. Work happy hour, more beer than I usually drink, fried food and a tailgate at work for the Super Bowl. Didn't over eat, just ate things that resulted in me being miserable yesterday. Have some sort of sinus issues that aren't helping either.

    Here is to a better week!

    HEAVIEST weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Total Weight lost: 30 pounds
    Time it took to lose: ~6 months
    How long in maintenance: Since July 2018 -- but with some fluctuation outside of goal range.
    Maintenance weight range: 142 - 148 (and not sure that's the right answer)

    How long in maintenance: I called maintenance in July 2016, but I continued to slowly lose until December of 2017. I have been in maintenance since December 2017
    Maintenance weight range: 115 - 120 lbs

    Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Weight is a little low this week, so I will be focusing on making sure I hit my calorie goal every day.  I got up to 2497 calories today so that should help. My goal is 2200 using TDEE.

    Is there a way to combine the two February check in threads? I guess for now I will post in both.

    Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Solid week cardio and tracking. Did body weight exercises only this week as I still have bicep tendinitis. Need it to go away so I can do some better more aggressive upper body stuff.

    Success of the week: Getting off the roller coaster that my weight has been on for the last two weeks. Last week I had gained up to the top of my maintenance range - about 4.5 pounds in two days. Holy cats! Kind of bounced around for the next week, then moderated back down. The last four days have been good - two days exactly the same scale weight just a little above my ultimate goal, then the last two just below it at the same weight. Feels better.

    Struggle of the week: The tenacity of the weight that jumped on me; it just didn't seem like it wanted to get off. I still need to stay where I am a few more days before my trending weight is back at goal, and I'll do that!

    Overall, still happy with maintaining even though I keep gaining and losing the same few annoying pounds. It does seem my ups and downs are getting smaller, so maybe (just MAYBE) I am getting this figured out.

    Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: All went well measuring, logging and exercising. Over 160 this morning but think I am retaining water and not drinking enough of the stuff. If it doesn’t correct in the next week with some hydration I will need to cut calories for a bit.
