The fear that I am going to do something absent-mindedly and injure myself, like screw up my form on a lift. Considering I work out first thing in the morning when I am sometimes in a semi-conscious fog, it's a pretty realistic fear. I've definitely done some dumb things like drop plates too close to my feet or walk into the barbell.

Adding/removing weight on the bar. It's such a pain especially since my gym is so small right now.

Moron drivers behind the wheel of their vehicle. (I'm a cyclist.) Oh...and Wind.
cycling + wind = brick wall.

I look at wind (and hills) as opportunities to improve my conditioning.

Moron Drivers are a separate issue...... frankly, they scare me.

I don't mind hills/climbs at all. Give me a nice hard, steep elevation to settle in and spin.

But wind! I ride in wind every.single.day. ugh. so, some times its worse. When I posted this, it was bad and caused crankiness ha ha.

I love working so hard I break a good sweat. I hate when it's dripping off my nose or forehead, though. The skin on my face will get sensitive sometimes because of the amount of toweling off.

Absolutely wrong. Well yes, if you’re on a dreadmill...cycling, running (outdoors) beats the hell out of gym. Jump rope is also fun.

Cardio at the end of my weights
  • I have chronic pain and exercise intolerance, so every single time as I leave the gym I wonder if I'm going to be able to function today or if somehow I overdid it and will be in bed the rest of the day. But so far I've managed to get it past my body and work out.

Waking up at 3:30... but the alternative is to do it in the evening, which I would dread more.
