My Daily Mantra

When I dig through the cupboards or root around in the 'fridge I've discovered that telling myself something important helps me forego those quick snacks I don't need.
Eat Less (I'm just bored and not hungry, so I won't eat a snack right now) (One serving, not three)
Eat Better (carrots instead of carrot cake)
Move More (Get off your *kitten* and take something to the basement. Or bring something up)
Little bites, not the whole elephant for desert.

Sounds like you have a plan
Just don't forget, the 'Eat Less' part can help you have some carrot cake once in a while ^_^

You are right, but if I start looking at it that way I'll fail. I've tried losing weight in the past with the goal of filling up calorie shortfalls with my snacks. I have to change my life style and work on making the goal good health rather than 'what else can I eat?'
Not criticizing, just sharing that that approach is a failure for me.0
