Hi guys
Looking for some help
Would really love to lose my belly fat!
Really happy with my weight currently weight is 11.2st and my height is 5’9 don’t mind if I put on weight so long as it not fat!
Play sport so looking to get stronger!
Currently have my profile set to maintain my weight but don’t actually know if this is correct!
Any advice would be great!
Not a clue!

Belly fat is just fat - you don't get to choose where you store your fat or where you lose fat from.
Option 1
Lose weight to reduce your overall bodyfat. But as you say you "don't mind gaining weight" then losing weight probably isn't what you want to do, but you might accept that as a short term downside to get lean before building up again?
Option 2
Maintain weight and add muscle, you will reduce fat at the rate you can gain muscle. But you don't mention if you are doing any exercise to actively gain muscle. What is this sport you play?
Option 3
Try to gain weight but gaining muscle faster than the rate you gain weight to get leaner while getting bigger.
But this is incredibly difficult for someone not a newbie to weight training, not taking naughty drugs and you would also have to train seriously for muscle gain while gaining weight very slowly and be a good responder to exercise. (i.e. not a high chance of success!).
Option 4
Gain weight, train hard, accept you are going to gain fat and muscle and you will have to cut weight again in the future to lose the extra fat you gain and hopefully reveal any new muscle you have gained.5 -
Thanks Guys
