Healthiest options at sushi restaurants?

Options
Hello!

I'm 18 and my friends and I often go out to sushi restaurants. I am a vegetarian, but I eat seafood (pescatarian). I am curious as to what the healthiest options are at sushi restaurants? Something that will be filling enough to be a meal.

I usually tend to get an avocado roll, 2 pieces of ebi nigiri, and a miso soup, although sometimes I switch it up.

What are the healthiest options at sushi restaurants? (other than the obvious of switching white rice rolls to brown rice)

Thanks!! :flowerforyou:

I usually get a bowl of miso soup and vegetarian roll (avocado, cucumber, carrot), which rounds out to about 300-400 calories depending on how many pieces you get.

if you're trying to avoid calories, stay away from the rice and just get the sashimi. That's pure lean protein.
If it's a matter of avoiding grease then nothing fried like tempura, and avoid heavy creams like mayo.
