Hi everyone! Today is my first day on my weight loss journey! I have never tracked my meals before so this is very new to me. Advice for a teacher who is constantly exhausted by the end of the school day?

Trying to work out the balance myself! I’m managing at the moment by acknowledging that I walk around a lot during the day, and then 2/3 times a week I go for a walk or run straight after school. Just a short one usually! Going straight away stops me from creating a list of reasons not to go as well! I also try to keep active on weekends too. Best of luck!

Hi! Teacher here! I struggle with the same things. I use my time at school to help - like I do squats next to kids desks/ work areas, play at recess with them, just stay constantly on my feet rather than sit. I also am one of the Step Team coaches, it’s so helpful bc I get a workout in with the kids and can’t make the excuses of “I’m tired” (which I do a lot to avoid the gym). I also have a gym membership with PF and they have tanning beds and water tables and massage chairs.. so I treat the gym like a mini spa and trick myself into some cardio and weights by convincing myself I’m “treating” myself! Haha When I go, I’m there less than an hour and 1/2 the time I’m in the “spa” but hey, 25 min workout is more than not going at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also do house chores and yard work, which helps to avoid being couch or bed locked! And I take vitamine b6 and b12 and green tea extract - they help tremendously with energy!

Just find one good habit to start at a time! If food journaling it new, stick with that one change for now. Add in one more thing in a week or so. Then keep adding. You are doing great, keep it up.
