    What are your goals?
    Gain weight?
    Lose weight?
    Eat more varieties?
I find it odd that you are both complaining that eggs keep you full the longest but that can not eat other things.

Are you trying to gain weight? This thread can help. Lots of helpful tips to get calories in and food suggestions.

If you are still having issues and unable to eat maybe checking with your doctor can help.

When you say you have no appetite to eat 'real food', what do you mean? That you're fine with eating 'junk/fast food/packaged stuff' (which is still real food, but...)? IE, is this a case of one being more appealing to you than the other, easier? You talk about appetite, what about hunger?

We really need some more information in order to help you :)

Eggs and toast are real foods -- perhaps I am not understanding your post -- although I'd make sure to eat vegetables with them, and you would want more protein.

Are you struggling to reach your calorie goal? It appears from your profile that you are trying to lose, so what did you eat when gaining? Or are you just bothered that you aren't feeling as hungry as you think you should?

I think it's perfectly fine, especially at first, to set some planned times to eat and meals and eat them, however hungry you feel. Some people have messed up hunger signals.

How low in iron? Low Normal or Anemic?

I wish I had taken my anemia more seriously when I was first diagnosed decades ago. But since it takes a while for symptoms to show up, I'd go in and out of having issues, until I started having super heavy periods, and now I need to treat it aggressively.

My hair is much healthier now that I've had it under control for years - I don't shed nearly as much, and don't have the problems with split ends that I used to.

Except for right after my TOM, my energy levels are back up to normal - I have crippling fatigue when I'm not careful and slip back into anemic.

As a human recovering from iron anemia over the last 6 months, I can tell you that the reading I did suggests that low iron disregulates leptin (which makes you feel hungry) and ghrelin (which makes you feel full). My appetite was messed up and weird for MONTHS while I was struggling to get my ferritin numbers back into the normal range.

Visit your doctor and have a discussion about how to supplement your iron properly versus your lifestyle and any other medications you're on. Getting your iron level under control should help you feel a billion percent better and more able to take on everyday tasks that may be unnecessarily difficult right now.

    Good luck!
