Pretty much ever trainer/dietician/athlete I know eats oatmeal in the morning, so I thought Id give it a go
I recently replaced my morning whole wheat/flaxseed/protein organic mini muffins plus plain greek yogurt (400cals total) with gluten free oatmeal (150cals). Im stunned at how differently my body is responding to this change.
-Before Oatmeal (BO), Id eat breakfast and feel good but within 2hours Id be starving and need to eat like a bear. Even in instances where I ate eggs and whole grain toast.
AO, Im full for HOURS. Like today I ate bfast at 10am & didnt eat lunch until 4pm and was barely hungry. I even did yoga for 90mins. Then at dinner time, I was pretty much still full
-this has been consistent since I switched to am oatmeal

It's funny because I used to hate oatmeal but now I'm addicted to it. I've eaten it for breakfast 5X/week since I began my weight loss journey two years ago. It's good for you, fills you up, is low calorie, and tastes great. Win!0

I just started doing oatmeal in the morning too! I use the Quaker weight control, 3 flavors in a box for 160 calories each. I like it in the morning because I count my morning meal as only a snack in my diary. I like eating it right away in the morning because I do all my exercise in the morning (about 90 minutes) and it doesn't slosh around or upset my stomach while I exercise. It keeps me satisfied throughout my workout. After my workout, I eat what I call Breakfast, so I can't answer if it keeps you full longer, I can only say that is good morning food for those that exercise in the morning.0

Alot of mornings I do oatmeal. I do the old fashioned, but just let it sit in boiling water. I add a teaspoon of peanut butter or craisins to mine. I don't get hungry.
Other mornings, I do a Greek yogurt and/or a homemade fruit smoothie with P90X shakeology. I don't get hungry from that either.
Special K and other boxed cereals, and I'm starving by 10:00 a.m.0 -
I can't eat oatmeal, the texture is gross. Also the gluten factors a bit of a downer for me, but it's a good excuse not to eat it...0
