What am I doing and why the tiger?

I was born in 1962, Year of the Tiger, and adopted it as my alter ego when I was young. I am partial to white tigers but like them all.
The first week of the year I injured myself simply by planting my feet and twisting to the left. I am now under a doctor's and physical therapist's care for a strained glute. It has been a two steps forward, one step back event since the injury. So I started looking for a way to track what I can do so I can see even the little improvements.
Yes, I could lose a little weight. Most can. But my main goal is to be healthy and to heal.
Straining the glute is literally a pain in the butt.
