This is day 1 for me and I am excited about this thread. My goal is to lose 8 pounds a month. My current weight is 218 lbs. I plan to use the fitness pal food entry daily and monitor my exercise and water intake on it daily. Great success to us all

    Hey! Good luck with your journey! If you follow the MFP guidelines I can confirm that it definitely works. I’m down almost 74lbs in 5.5 months just calorie counting.

    Welcome and good luck! As the poster above said, follow the MFP recommendations and you’ll be fine. I would suggest (and you’ll hear this a million times) to buy a good scale and get in the habit of using it. Cheers!
