I know in body pump sometimes you do concentric 1 count, eccentric 3 counts.0

That's what the trainer at my gym taught me when I took my first tour through the weight machines. Fast execution, slow return. He said you get a lot better results and I can definitely tell a difference in the muscle fatigue when I'm done doing it that way. (He was busy the first night, so just went through and did what I knew which had me moving same speed in both directions)1
