Question, can i still lose weight on just a calorie deficit? Or do i have to worry about macros and keeping it low carb? If I’m busy and can’t cook, can i have a burger as long as I’m under calories? Or does too many carbs and fat hurt my weight loss even if I’m under calories? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Yes as long as you are in a calorie deficit, you will lose weight. Doesn’t matter what calories.
Weight loss is all about eating less calories than your body burns. It’s the way weight is always lost. Macros are important for getting proper nutrition.3 -
Weight is managed by energy balance.
There are health and fitness implications for eating enough protein, fat, fiber and micronutrients but you only lose weight (and will always lose weight) if you are in a caloric deficit.2 -
Count calories for weight loss, count macros for health/nutrition.2
