Gazelle

I was just wondering if anyone has had good results with using the Gazelle as your primary exercise? If so, how much weight have you lost? Just curious, as this is the machine I have.

I've dropped 108lbs. I have an old-school Gazelle Edge glider (no way to adjust tension or anything; just put your feet on the boards, grab the hand-holds, and start moving). Walking is my preferred primary exercise, but... I live in Toronto; we get snow in the winter; on the shortest days of the year the sun sets around 4PM; we get extreme cold alerts and sometimes, it's just not feasible to get out there. Or, when the weather's warmer, it still rains. I may have things to do and not be able to get outside while it's still light enough. So, when I can't walk, it's the glider.
Note: weight loss is achieved by calorie deficit. I move more, but I also eat less (and eat back 50% of the calories the machine tells me I've burned).0
