So glad I have this app

When I decided to change my eating habits and a coworker told me about it. It has really made me understand portions and how much I have been overeating and make really unhealthy food choices. So it’s been 2 days of using this app and I already feel empowered.

Congratulation on feeling empowered. This app is really life-changing; at least it has been for me. I initially lost about 50 pounds 4 years ago. I've gained back a bit, but am here to lose it again. I can tell you (other than when I'm sloppy and not utilizing the tools) it really works. Just a few pointers that have worked for me.
1. buy a food scale. Use it.
2. Be patient, weight loss isn't linear (you'll hear this a lot)
3. Read the forums, especially the "sticky" pages at the very top. They will answer A LOT of your questions.
4. Try to love yourself along the way
5. You can cheat the app (by not logging/weighing) but you can't cheat your body. Regardless of whether or not you log it, your body will.
6. BE PATIENT.

Me, too! It has made such a difference in my eating habits also. I used to weigh 250 lbs. I look at the old pictures of me and know I will never be that heavy again. The tools here make it so much easier.1
