My Foods not showing up as recipe ingredient choices

Old foods that I created a year or two ago show up as ingredient choices in my recipe builder. But when I make new foods now, they just vanish into thin air when I save them, and no longer show up as choices at all. Is this broken for everybody?

I had to wait 24 hours, and then they showed up in the end.
