What the heck! In person motivation is not working, perhaps online will help? Work schedules have gotten crazy so my lunch buddy and I haven't been able to get to the gym together hardly ever for a long time. I need to get motivated like she is an go even when we can't go together. Also having troubles where the husband and I don't have same nutritional or exercise needs. He's wanting to start again too! We did it once and let it lapse. Food is so addictive!3

My digital scale played a cruel trick on me this morning and I though I'd lost weight..honestly I hate how I can get a little obsessive about calories and macros and scales! It feels like my natural tendency is anxiousness. If I am "on the wagon" I can worry about those things too much and sometimes it's been a main contributor to why I jumped off the wagon. Does anyone have any tips to help me deal with this all or nothing obsessive type behavior?3

I am in! This is my first challenge here, so I hope I am doing it right (please let me know if I am not). I am working towards bariatric surgery this summer (please hold your negative opinions or horror stories) and am working on losing my pre-surgery weight. I love the idea of having a group to check in with! I need to get down to 355lbs, I am currently at 385.

Julie I hear you on husband being on different track. We (my hubby and I) had a come to Jesus last week. For my health and a dress I need to order I needed his support not sabotage. on the gym buddy that’s nice you have one but I do see how take would be hard when they say no gym today. Is everyone ready for this? Day one of the challenge is here! What is your plan for the day?
I have my food plan in place. I'm headed to the art museum for a nice long, lovely stroll around with the family checking out the new exhibits, getting some creative stimuli. Staying active today! Housework and healthy cooking after the museum.

Have had kids & grandkids here all weekend. Everyone leaves this morning. Hope to get on the treadmill or walk the dogs for at least 30 mins this afternoon. Counting on this being a successful challenge for us all! Good luck!4 -

I've been tracking for 1 week and have lost 1 pound so I'm setting my goals hoping I can lose 5 pounds a month. It should be possible at a 1,200 calorie diet, even just setting a goal makes me a little nervous that I will be so discouraged and give up if I don't meet that goal. Trying to make goals and check in with the scale but still see just tracking and no sugar as my Main goals. So as long as I continue doing those things I will see this as a victory even if I don't lose weight!2 -
