    My name is Chris. I am 69 and will be 70 on March 12th. I am scheduled for a total hip replacement March 10th. My weight has been going up and up the last couple of weeks. I am a stress eater for sure. :o <--this is me with my mouth open waiting for food!!! :D

    My DH and I used to walk 5 miles five times a week in 80-90 mins then I had a pinched nerve in my back which the doc fixed last June but then my hip started yelling at me, so we haven't walked in about a year and a half. It's killing me, but I'll be back to walking sometime in summer. ;)

    I'm in - gonna try. Was weighing everyday but started just weighing weekly so I would see a bigger change and not stress as much. Trying to focus on eating better and changing my eating habits so counselor said to weigh weekly. Not as I thought, so daily it is. Seems to give me more of a boost if I see I at least went down some. Good Luck everyone!
