Hi everyone
Here is the short version of my story...
I am 18 years old and I live in Australia. I was bullied in my junior years of highschool. I was never dramaticly over weight (I had a BMI of 25ish) but as far as I was concerned I could have been the size of a house. Somewhere along the line things got better for me. Kids stopped bullying me, people would comment daily on how skinny I'd gotten or how much better I looked with my new hair cut. But I guess if someone calls you 'fat' or 'ugly' for long enough you start to believe them, and I definitely did. Now this isn't supposed to be a sob story. I still struggle with self esteem issues and I am still dealing with the consequences of losing weight in such an unheathy way, I am learning and I get better everyday
Everyday I read a new blog post or forum thread about people who have been hurt by a nasty comment or judgement and it breaks my heart. I know what it's like to feel like you're not good enough but I am here to tell you that you are! no matter who you are are or where you come from.
If you need a friend to help motivate you too lose weight, support your recovery, or just someone to say hi to once in a while send me a message, tell me you're story. It doesn't matter what you are struggling with, fitness related or not, how old you are, where you are from, or what you do.
If I can stop just one person from going through what I did it will be worth it
Thanks for reading x
