keto newbie

Hi all, using this app to try and balance the fat, protein and carbs as I get going on a keto adventure to reduce inflammation, increase my concentration, lose a little weight and hopefully develop some long lasting energy each day. Pretty challenging to stay with-in the tiny carb amount but on 4th day and saw a pound drop just this morning so maybe getting the body to switch over. No other way to explain losing a pound with that kind of healthy fat consumption. Anyhow next step is the exercise portion but still feeling a little wiped out from the diet change.. Onward:-)

    good day Keto Newbie!- good luck with your new venture. I am also looking for the positive effects from the Keto diet. I was making the mistake of not eating enough fat to reach ketosis, even drinking Pruvit Nat daily. so frustrating, I readjusted my cal and macro nutrient tracking to line up with Keto daily targets. Found Jif Simple PB and whipped up some heavy cream so I am hopefully going to see some positive changes. Cheers!
