I have never been a naturalist... like an herbal remedies believer. But... I decided recently to give some a try being I'm battling an intense sweet tooth and huge appetite in the shadows of prediabetes and obesity. I must say, it's actually helping!
My cravings have significantly reduced and I have more control!
I went this last week to an iridologist and this is what he placed me on. I must say, for me it seems to be working.

leaving aside that I think iridology is ummm, not based on scientific principles ( am trying to put that nicely) - what exactly are you taking and how is it helping?
I can see that any product could psychologically reduce cravings and therefore calorie intake and therefore help with weight loss.
Even if that is all it is, if it works for you, that's great.
we all have mind methods that work for us and that's a good thing.5 -

Perhaps there was once a link, since deleted?
OP, do you know what "placebo effect" is? Most people think it means an imaginary effect, one that's all and only in a person's head. It doesn't. It can be physical, i.e, affect physiological processes.
I'm very skeptical of iridology (poor scientific evidence), but I'm sure there are herbs that have unstudied effects.
Either way, I'm glad your path is easier. I just hope you're not paying top dollar for some kind of special formulation, or that can have negative side affects at the dosage taken. One potential problem with herbs is that they're not standardized as to potency/dosage, and in some counties not regulated as to quality/purity.

I thought this was going to be about using herbs in cooking, or maybe growing them.6
