:/ My first β€˜weigh in’ is tomorrow... I’m
Nervous I failed... I have a trainer and this is my second week with him. I’m super worried I’m going to let him down even though I HAVE been working super hard. Consistently tracking and staying in my nutrient goals and working out daily... hoping for a positive result tomorrow.

Nerves get to all of us and while it is considerate that you are concerned about your trainer, remember you are doing this for you.
Stay strong and focused and no matter what remember YOUR WHY.

For me, I weigh myself every day. I couldn't handle the stress and disappointment of going a whole week, working super hard to lose weight only to see the number higher than before. As I monitor my weight daily, I can ensure that I don't have any 'surprise failures' when it's time for official weigh-ins.

My method is not for everyone, but it does work for me. Best of luck.

Good luck fitfam! Hope we're all a bunch of losers by months end!

Thought I share a post I put in the Feb, weight loss challenge:

Hope y'all are seeing the results you were hoping for.
Remember to not focus too much on the number you see on the scale, the scale doesn't tell you the full story. If you are exercising hard, lifting, playing sports, etc. you could be putting on muscle. It is best to use the scale in conjunction with a measuring tape. I do recommend a ribbon or cloth tape measure, over a metal one. The metal ones can pinch and are harder to bend.

Together the two tell a better story and you can even track it on your profile.
I measure my waistline, neck, chest, biceps, forearms, thighs and calves. The main thing for most people to track are the neck and waist, the ladies may also want to measure their hips, as the hips don't lie.

To that note, I am down two full inches in my waistline.

Also, something that has helped me was using a digital food scale. When I was seeing my best results I was weighing EVERYTHING! I was surprised at how much I was going over on some items when I was eyeing it. Even protein powders that came with a measuring cup, I was using more than a serving. Where the label stated a scoop as a serving it also said 39 grams, when I decided to weigh a scope it was coming in at 50 grams. Yes that is minor but in the game of counting calories a little here and there can add up fast.

Again, good luck my fellow losers!

Measuring a few days early but it's what works for me. fell a 1/2 pound short of my weekly goal but I have been sick as a dawg for almost two weeks, and eating like crap! So I'll take it.

Total loss for March: I was off on vacation the last week of February. I don't have a February ending weight, and I am using March 2 as a start for this month; it was the first morning I was around a scale. I am down a tiny bit from then and really REALLY close to ultimate goal weight, and I've been pretty steady maintaining all week. I'm surprised I only gained a pound over my vacation: I ate so much ceviche and grilled fish plus a huge breakfast buffet every day.

She is a Maltese. That was when she was 8 weeks old. She will be 7 soon.
