Im 76 kg/167 lbs, 26 year old and 160 cm tall. I want to lose 26 kg/57 lbs!

Hi everyone :)

I have been struggling with my extra weight ever since I was a kid. At some point in college I managed to lose some some weight and went back to the normal BMI category. However, during the last year I was subjected to a lot of emotional stress in my life and the weight crept up on me :'(

I didn't even notice at first. Only when people at work started pointing out my bulging belly and my bigger hips did I notice! Suffice to say I felt very bad :(

I have been trying to lose the weight but emotional eating gets the best of me everytime, this coupled with the fact that me and my partner love takeout makes it very hard to lose the extra weight. however, I am hoping to change my ways! Its the first of March where I live and I plan to start fresh and stick to my plan of reducing my calories and not eating out.

Anyways, I would love to keep track of my progress with the community and also follow other people's journeys !
