I live near Las Vegas and had planned on going to Italy with a female friend in 2 weeks.
Due to the Coronavirus, we are going to delay the trip but need to get out of town for a week or more to break up our day to day lives a bit.
We are completely open to just about anything. Where should we go and why? What should we do there?

    Go to Costa Rica. You won’t regret it! Try to go to Puerto Viejo or Monteverde Cloud Forest.

    I've been to Costa Rica a few times and it's the first place I suggested, but my friend isn't an outdoorsy girl.

    Come to Canada...enjoy some dirty, ugly snow...and then be happy you live where you do!

    ...have a "stay-cation"?...look for somewhat local tourist attractions and check them out?

    Random road trips are my fav - just pack your car (for camping potentially, but not for sure) and DRIVE...stop wherever you like and explore!!
    (sometimes creepy highway towns and motels make memories!)

    Come on down to Scottsdale.

    The weather is perfect and Baseball's Spring Training is in full swing.
    That might not be your thing, but it brings a certain energy to town.

    Also...

    Lots of good restaurants, art, shops etc. etc.

    ..... or Hawaii is always a safe bet.
