If you have access to equipment, rowing or cycling can be low impact yet still allow for intensity, if you want that. Swimming or other water exercise are a couple of other options. Strength training (weight or bodyweight) is low impact.2

Walking is low impact. Leslie Sansome, among others, has videos with good low impact workouts that combine walking, high knees, kicks, and side steps with hand weights to give a good 20-60 minute workout.

Walking. Cycling is also low impact but you can still get a vigorous workout in. I primarily cycle or mountain bike in large part because I love doing it, but I got into it because the high impact of running was jacking my feet up even with proper footwear.0

Walking, biking, yoga, elliptical, stair treadmill, rowing, body strength exercises, weights, swimming, and walking. I just got a Fitbit and am determined to get 10,000 steps a day minimum, I keep losing my car because I'm parking so far away but am burning a lot more calories since getting one.0

Watching YouTube is definitely low impact!
Anyway, I jog a few times a week, spin a few times, and swim. It's a good combo. I've also been a big ellipticator in the past. And, in the summer I love kayaking and SUPing, which are really fantastic.
The spinning turns into cycling in summer (which is admittedly harder and a lot more risky).2 -
LOL @Jthanmyfitnesspal
Leslie Sansome workouts on youtube are very good low impact options.1 -
some yoga is low impact. chair yoga for example.
if you have access to a pool, aqua walking, aerobics etc0 -
I'll echo the cycling comments. I can ride for hours and burn tons of calories but not have that "beat up" feeling when I'm done. Muscles get sore, but the joints feel fine
