calculations

I have been browsing the web and have found no definitive answer the porridge I am eating is 371cals per 100g and the whole milk I use is 260cals per 400ml.
So is it as simple as 371+ 260= 631 cals or will I loose some milk to evaporation or some thing else during in the cooking process? which would lower my calorie intake making my calculations wrong.
Many thanks

I log what I put in the dish, I don't spend any time worrying about evaporation.5

If you are using 100 g of porridge and 400 ml of milk, then, yes, 371 + 260.
If you lose anything to evaporation it's minimal and likely just water anyway, so would not affect the cals.6
