ABOUT ME TODAY IT"S ALL ABOUT YOU AND SELF RESPECT

Often in life we let ourselves down, I did gain a mountain of fat and embarrassed that my clothes no longer fit me. I am a handsome devil and it's ugly feeling at a loss in self control. I am now recommitted to better eating habits, working out like an animal 5 plus days a week, retirement is my complete focus on me and health, both mental and physical. I am a Veteran with acquired mental disabilities while serving in Army Nurse corps, Walter REED ICU nothing prepared me for the lasting issues and craziness i endured. I was at my best when I did the YMCA like a religion and this app was introduced to me by my Doctor and dietitian, she will not even work with me unless I am plugged in so I am sooooo PLUGGED in its a mandate in my life, life well, proper, believe in something other than personal indulgence and pick a plan. Just DO IT, JOURNAL IT and live it. I am 63 years old and feel much more like 50 years old, it's mind over matter, I am an achiever of many things made a ton of money Wall Street whiz kid, lost a ton of it dumbass wiseguy.
Hey today I am living the dream, feeling better daily no longer using anything that might bring down my TEMPLE MY BODY.
Clarity comes from work and I never was one shy of work, it's been life saving in my mental health I am again humble and string about what I choose to do!!

NOTHING, No ONE WILL GET IN MY WAY TODAY!!
SALUTE TO A NEW LIFE

64 year old fellow veteran here. Congratulations on recommitting yourself to a better life. Yea, I don't feel like 64. I plan on feeling that way for a while.

Whoah buddy! I am a veteran also. I have been plugged in now for about two months. I lost myself after a bad divorce and being alienated from my kids. I became pretty self-destructive and totally stopped taking care of myself. stopped walking the walk, talking the talk, and being unconscious about what I was ingesting. It's ironic, that I was a fitness professional for over 20 years after I ETS'd from the Army.

I lost my health and fitness. Put on 45-50 lbs of unattractive weight which aged me literally 15 yrs easily. But i'm on the mend! I realized I had to get my head right or there might not be any coming back. I managed to work hard for the past five years to combat negative thoughts, self pitty and making bad choices. I'm down 15 lbs in the past 2 months and feel motivated again. I look forward to keeping track of my goals and staying committed to health which is truly the most important thing you have in life.
