I have had a boring day today, so I am just listing a few things I was thinking about today, hopefully my thoughts will keep everyone entertained!

1. I never see any of my co workers eat snacks. Everyone is hungry all day until lunch - they eat lunch and then nobody eats anything. I on the other hand, have had three total meals today

a. Protein shake after the gym
b. Lunch - brown rice, vegetables, chicken
c. Breakfast - 2 eggs scrambled with vegetables
d. Protein bar for ride home

I always feel bad that I'm the only person who kind of munches all day.

2. When I am sleepy, I feel like eating snacks for no reason - today I am being good and trying to ignore it, my trainer I am working with dropped my calories from 1500 to 1300 so I need to work a little harder at avoiding high calorie snacks

3. Snacks can have a lot of calories!! I bought some protein bars last week - and didn't realize that they had 330 calories in 1 - with being on a 1300 calorie diet, spending 300 calories on one snack is a lot!

4. Rain makes everything so dreary and makes you feel like you wish you were sleeping!

If you are a grazer, so be it! Just plan ahead for each tiny meal or snack so you know you'll hit your calorie target.

As for "bored eating." We've all been there. It really pays to add some non-diet goals to your life, such as getting involved in a book group, walking group, singing group, etc. Anything to keep from sitting around thinking of food!

    Best of luck!

I really like the Luna Protein bars- the peanut butter chocolate is like 120 calories. I also buy the Think Thin Kids protein bars that are close to 100 calories too. They probably have lower protein content, but they help and they taste like a treat without blowing my calorie budget.
